A New Efficient Distributed Algorithm for Mining Association Rules
With the distributed system being exist widely, using the traditional centralized association rule mining to discover useful patterns in such system isnt always feasible because merging data sets from different sites into a centralized site incurs huge network communication costs. In this paper, we present a new efficient distributed association rules mining algorithm (NED-ARM) to fast find the large itemsets over the distributed transaction database system. The performance study shows that NED-ARM algorithm is efficient and feasible.
