Research on the Fuzzy Reasoning Model of Uncertain Topological Relation

Since the existed qualitative spatial reasoning model for topological relations is incompetent for uncertain spatial topological relation reasoning, a novel model is constructed based on the topological relation composition table of the RCC5, where the qualitative reasoning method is extended into the fuzzy domain, and the Mamdani fuzzy reasoning method is adopted. The reasoning rule base is created; meanwhile the reasoning workflow is designed in the paper. At last, a case study are taken, whose results show that the model is cognitive rationality and viable for uncertain spatial topological reasoning.
