Molecular thermodynamic model of polymer solutions based on lattice fluid model
In our previous work, we have developed a close-pack lattice model for the binary polymer solutions. As a continuation, considered the effect of volume changing of polymer systems, we developed a Helmholtz function model of mixing for polymer solutions based on lattice fluid theory. The resulting lattice fluid equation of state shows good agreement when applied to describe thermodynamic properties such as pVT of polymers, vapor pressure and liquid volume of pure normal fluids, and the parameters of pure fluids and polymers are obtained by correction of experimental data.
