Theory and Design of Rectification Column Technology with Glycerol
The design project of glycerol fractionating column was proposed in this article according to the design condition and demand of fractionating column. The new type high-efficient packing, new-type liquid distributor and the design software of packing column studied by Beijing University of Chemical Technology were used in this fractionating technology. The simulation software was used to simulate the mass transfer and hydrodynamics, and an optimized distillation technology reform plan was obtained. This technology has won the honor of Science and Technology Advancement Prize awarded by the Petrochemical Associations and has already been widely used in industry.
