The Oxygen Permeability of La1-xSrxCo0.2Fe0.8O3-δ Membrane for Oxygen Separation

A typical dense membranes of La1-xSrxCo0.2Fe0.8O3-δ(x=0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) have been synthesized successfully prepared by c itric method and sintering at 1300 ℃. The influence of Sr substitution in La site of the La1 -xSrxCo0.2Fe0.8O3-δPerovskite structure on the electrical conduction properties and oxygen permeation was investigated. The Sr substitution was compensated by formation of oxygen vacancies. LSCF-6428 showed best oxygen separation among La1-xSrxCo0.2Fe0.8O3-δ, x=0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4. The oxygen flux of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ Membrane increased with increasing temperature, and the maximum oxygen permeation flux was 0.33 ml/cm 2 ·min at 950℃.
