Characterization of Non-aromatic VOCs Emissions from Separation Process
This study was carried out to investigate emission characteristics of non-aromatic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from separation process. There are many sources of non-aromatic VOCs like transport, industry, fuel and so on. To obtain profile of non-aromatic VOCs used in industrial sources, the TRI (Toxic Release Inventory) was con-sidered. It was found that the emission quantity of non-aromatic VOCs from production processes occupied small proportion in total emission. However, in each industrial area using separation process, emission quantity from separation process was not small pro-portion any more. Therefore, the separation process could be a major source of VOCs emission.
