Design and Implementation of MVB Controller Using SOPC Technology
A MVB (Multifunction Vehicle Bus) controller using SOPC (system-on-a-programmable-chip) technology is presented in this paper. The SOPC technology, developed by Altera Corporation, consists of a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and a Nios embedded processor. The MVB Access IP (Intelluctual Property), which is designed in Verilog HDL (Harderware Description Language), executes, the function of data encoding and decoding the checkout. The Noice Embedded manages the execution of components in the controller. The simulation and experimental result is present.
