Analysis of Water-Mediated Residues in Protein-Protein Interaction

Chinese shrimp (Fenneropenaeus chinensis) farming takes a very important place in shrimp farming industry. However, white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) is a major shrimp pathogen that causes a great damage to the industry. In an attempt to identify proteins of hepatopancreas in normal and WSSV inflected Chinese shrimps, 2DE-MS was used. Proteomics technology platform on hepatopancreas of Chinese Shrimp (Fenneropenaeus chinensis) with white spot syndrome was established. 2DE (4-7 IPG, 10%SDS-PAGE) was used to separate total proteins. The peptides mass fingerfingerprint was got by MOLDI-TOF. We separated 310 protein spots of which several proteins were filtered and identify. Some advice was given.
