Hybrid Two-Arm Coupler with Long Range Surface Plasmon Polariton and Dielectric Waveguides

The characteristics of lateral and vertical hybrid two-arm coupler, which is consisted of a long range surface plasmon polariton waveguide and a conventional dielectric waveguide, are analyzed numerically with finite element method.
