Effect of Chirp in 42.8 Gbit/s Electro-absorption NRZ Transmitter on Optical Transmission
We experimentally demonstrate 42.8 Gbit/s electro-absorption modulated NRZ transmission over 1200km standard single mode fiber. The effects of transmitters chirp on the transmission performance are experimentally and numerically investigated.
