Fabrication of photonic crystal nanocavity for generating entangled photon pairs using quantum dots

We fabricated photonic crystal nanocavities which have two orthogonal dipole modes with a minimum splitting of -50 μeV and measured cavity Qs of ~2,000. Those cavities are applicable for generating entangled photon pairs using quantum dots.
