Controlling Self-assembled 1D Periodicity in Nonlinear Photonic Crystals

摘要：

Epitaxial strain is used to control the periodicity of spontaneous 1D polarization stripes in ferroelectric thin films for quasi-phase matching in nonlinear photonic crystals. Electronic reorientation of the stripes provides optical switching capability.
