Analysis of Mode Coupling for Rectangular Microcavities by FDTD Technique
We have investigated the mode characteristics for rectangular microcavities by finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) technique. The results show that high quality factor (Q-factor) modes exist in the rectangular microcavities due to the mode coupling.
