Optical generation of millimeter-wave by using external quadruple frequency modulation technique
A technique to optically generate milimeter-wave based on extemal quadruple-frequency modulation is presented. By using two cascaded intensity modulators with a variable optical delay line, wideband continuously tunable millimeter-wave is obtained without any optical filters.
