Image Detection of Roundness Error

摘要：

A roundness error detection system based on image processing is introduced in this paper. After given a general grasp of hardware, framework of software system is proposed. Image pretreatment reduce noise of image and decrease operation region in image.Improved sobel operator is used to detect edge at pixel level, then a sub-pixel algorithm based on polynomial interpolation is used to get accurate circle of object.Finally, Least Square algorithm and minimum zone algorithm will be combined together to detect the roundness error of steel ball. Combination improves the precision of roundness error. Experiments indicate that this system can accurately measure roundness error of steel ball, and can work real time.
