MIMO Radar Target Position Estimation using Centralized Data Fusion
Multiple-input Multiple-output(MIMO)radar is composed of multiple transmitters and receivers. In this paper, target position estimation is addressed conditioned on a spatial diversity MIMO radar. Centralized signal processing is equivalent to a estimation problem, so maximum likelihood method is used to estimate the target position and the Cramer Rao Bound(CRB) is derived. Two position location algorithms separately based on distance sum measurement and ambiguity function are proposed. Simulation results provide some explanations of the theory analysis.
