Research on Trust Model in P2P Networks
The open and anonymous of a P2P network makes it an ideal medium for attackers to spread malicious content. Therefore trust model is necessary for a P2P network. In the trust model the article advanced, users rate the reliability of parties they deal with, and share this information with other peers. The model helps establishing trust among good peers as well as identifying malicious ones. The simulation experiment shows that the proposed model can be highly effective in preventing the spread of malicious content in P2P networks.
