A STUDY ON EVALUATION OF LANDSLIDE RISK INDUCED BY RAINFALL WITH GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM

The purpose of this study is estimating landslide disaster risk mutually. By using Geographical Information System, we propose an evaluation method of landslide risk by analyzing odds of landslide by rainfall and damage which is intended public works facility.Hazard map and resource map of pubic works facility are shown by Monte Carlo simulations according to classification of each geologic condition and by using original geographic information system. By carrying out this, a method of exhibition of risk map is proposed. Trend of risk distribution is stuck out on periphery of big city. So, risk map is necessary to know the real dangerousness of landslide and the precaution part.
