A SIMPLIFIED ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR DEFORMATIONS OF MULTI-PILE FOUNDATIONS

摘要：

A simplified analytical method is proposed for a multi-pile foundation which is a group of many piles restricted by a rigid footing. We regard an ordinary pile foundation itself as a structural model named the equivalent single pile model. Composition of the concept about the new model and three approximate assumptions for simplification are introduced.The important derivation process and fundamental formulas are presented. With the typical results obtained by the proposed method, application and theoretical development of the method are discussed.
