END-BEARING COMPOSITE PILE FOUNDATION AND ITS DESIGN METHOD
Because of the small settlement of the end-bearing pile, the capacity of soils among piles can not be carried out, even if the distance of piles is increased. Consequently all loads of the super-structure should be supported by piles only. The capacity of soils could not be used, and huge waste caused. This paper studied a kind of tailored equipment named deformation adjustor, which is used to adjust the deformation between the end-bearing pile and the soil among piles. The design method of the end-bearing composite pile foundation is presented, in which the end-bearing piles and the soil foundation are working together,especially the soil plays the main role. The design method has been shown to be successful.
