NUMERICAL PREDICTION OF NATURAL CONVECTION OCCURRING IN BUILDING COMPONENTS USING LATTICE BOLTZMANN METHOD
A double population Lattice Boltzmann is used tosolve the problem of the diffrentially heated cavityThe use of a non-uniform grid makes it possible tovalidate the approach for laminar and transitionalflows and (10 3 ?üra ?ü10 8 ). The results obtained,concerning the heat and mass transfers are inconcordance with those of the literature. Thiscomparison makes it possible to validate this type ofapproach for the prediction of anisothermal flows. Toillustrate the applicability of such method forbuilding components, the example presented is amodel of solar collector.
