STRATEGY OF CONTROL SYSTEM’S DEVELOPMENT FOR HOSPITAL SURGICAL OPERATING ROOMS’ VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

This paper describes ventilation, the air conditioning and its control systems development for surgical operating rooms in Valmiera, Latvia. In total there are five operating rooms in the hospital, each with 36m2 of area, and 3m height of ceiling. The air conditioning system in the operating rooms is developed according to standard DIN 1946/4. The air handling units technical data, energy consumption, and sequence of operation and control systems development is analysed according to average meteorological year in Latvia.
