MODELING AND SIMULATION FOR CENTRAL AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH PURE-AIR TERMINALS
The simulation of air-conditioning system and the optimized control of minimizing energy consumption under the constraint of temperature are mainly studied in this paper. The simulation software HVACSIM+ and its main models for air handling unit are introduced. The AHU and rooms of the first floor of certain Building are taken as the simulation target; a simulation system is set up. Then the function describing the relation between the consumption of cooling coil and the chilled water velocity is found and taken as the objective function. With improved cyclic variable method the controllers parameters are optimized under the MATLAB environment. Finally the HVACSIM+ simulator is run again to calculate the energy consumption supplied by the cooling resources. Results show that the system runs steadily while the controller works with the optimal parameters and the energy consumption of the cooling coil is greatly reduced compared with working in non-optimizing condition.
