NUMERICAL SIMULATION AND ANALYSIS OF RADIANT FLOOR HEATING SYSTEM
To study the thermal comfortable degree in a radiant floor room, this paper investigates turbulent air convection coupled with thermal radiation in the radiant floor heating room by numerical simulation. The three-dimensional temperature distribution and air flow patters are numerically simulated with the zero-equation turbulent model in the room. Two typical operating models, which there is and there is no windows in the room are analyzed. The thermal comfort degree is also evaluated by PMV-PPD. The simulation analysis result indicates that the radiant floor heating system can meet the demand of comfortable degree of occupants, and that the distribution of temperature field and velocity field is enormously influenced by boundary conditions.
