THE EXPERIMENT RESEARCH OF SOLAR ASSISTED HEAT PUMP-RADIANT FLOOR HEATING SYSTEM

A radiant floor heating system based on solar assisted heat pump (SAHP) with heat-pipe collectors, a hot water storage tank and a water source heat pump has been proposed. The thermal performances of the system, of the heat collector and of the heating room have been investigated experimentally during heating season in north China. The characters of continuous and intermittent operating modes of radiant floor heating are analyzed. The results of experiment indicate that operation costs of this system can be reduced in the intermittent operation mode according to the floor and enclose structures performances of thermal storage; the coefficient of heat pipe-evacuated tubular heat collector is 64.4%, and the heat pumps and the whole heating systems coefficient of performance (COP) is 3.08 and 2.74 respectively; the time of the temperature rising in indoor is lagged around 3 hours relative to the unit heating time, which benefit to intermission heating mode to reduce the running expenses.
