EXERGY ANALTSIS OF ICE-STORAGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR TEXTILE FACTORY

In this paper ice-storage system is considered to use in the textile factory. Ordinary air conditioning system in the textile factory has many disadvantages when it is running. This paper puts ice-storage system in the textile factory to analysis whether it has more excellence than the ordinarys or not. The exergy analysis is a modern thermodynamic method that is used as an advanced tool for engineering process evaluation, and it is based on both the First and the Second Laws of Thermodynamics. The main purpose of exergy analysis is to discover the causes and quantitatively estimate the magnitude of the imperfection of a thermal or chemical process. Exergy analysis methods are used to assess the system performance based on the reference data. The relations of exergy destructions (or irreversibilities) and exergy efficiency were presented for each component of the whole system. At last, it will get the conclusion that putting the icestorage in the air conditioning system is better than the ordinarys.
