RESEARCH ON CHARACTERISTICS OF A NEW DEFROSTING METHOD
A new defrosting method-the sensible heat defrosting was proposed, aiming at shelving the various disadvantage of the conventional reverse cycle defrosting. And mechanism of this process through conducting experiments on the sample system we developed was analyzed. Furthermore, the defrosting characteristics of this new defrosting method were studied. Results of the experiment indicated that, compared to a four-valve reverse defrosting cycle, the time needed for defrosting could be reduced by 10％ through utilizing the sensible heat defrosting method while the defrosting effect can be guaranteed. At the same time, many disadvantages appear in a traditional reverse cycle defrosting method could be avoided. Also, it has improved the comfort of the system with the temperature of the supplied water fluctuating with the range of 5.
