NUMERICAL STUDY ON INDOOR ENVIRONMENT OF YANG-LING RELICS MUSEUM HEATED FROM THE ENVELOP GLASS
The internal environmental parameters of the museum building have been proved to be critical for the preservation of cultural heritage. For lack of guidance to design the heating system of underground mausoleum museum, a CFD mathematical model was presented to simulate the detailed air temperature and velocity field in the display room of No.14-21 funerary pits of the museum. A low Re k-ε model was adopted in the simulation as the natural convection turbulence model. The numerical results indicate that the present heating system would lead an air distribution that the upper domain is hotter than the lower domain in the enclosure, and the air temperature near the conservation is difficult to reach the set value. On the basis of above analysis, a supposed system is presented by using the side faces of funerary pits as the heating source. The numerical results of the supposed system show that it can change air stratified layout in the museum. Furthermore, the environmental temperature near the conservation is easy to reach the set value.
