RESEARCH ON BAKE-OUT TECHNOLOGY WITH DILUTION VENTILATION FOR INDOOR AIR POLLUTION
In China, with the improvement of the living standard and civil building innovation, large numbers of building materials and decoration have been used. The emission of some kinds of VOC pollutants such as formaldehyde, benzene, toluene and xylene etc. from these materials may trigger immediate or potential health problems. Bake-out with dilution ventilation is a potential technology that can shorten emission cycle of indoor VOCs and other hazardous gas, and then reduce indoor air pollution brought forward by building materials. In this paper, a test chamber was conducted to be representative of the newly renovated residential house in China. In order to discuss this technology application feasibility the removal effect of formaldehyde, benzene, toluene and xylene was investigated via experiments. Numerical value method was used to compute 1m3- chamber- TVOC removal amount under different operation conditions and concentration changes indoor during bake-out exhaust dilution process. Except that, the effects of bake-out temperature, bake-out time, ventilation time, air change rate on removal was also discussed in it.
