INVESIGATION OF A NOVEL THERMOELECTRIC AIR EXCHANGER WITH HEAT RECOVERY

摘要：

Based on the traits of thermoelectric cooling and heating, combining thermoelectric coolers and platefin heat exchanger, a novel thermoelectric air exchanger with heat recovery which can be used to recover thermal energy of exhaust air in summer or winter and cool or heat fresh-air actively has been made in Hunan University Thermoelectric Lab. Its COP value can be 2.6 in the summer and above 2.5 in the winter. The limitation of conventional air exchanger, without active cooling ability, has been broken through in the development of this thermoelectric air exchanger. The research of this thermoelectric air exchanger has developed a new way for application of thermoelectrics in small power household appliances and energy conservation in air-conditioning system.
