THE VERTICAL CAPSULATED PLATE ICE STORAGE EQUIPMENT AND ITS CHARACTERISTICS

A kind of novel and high-efficient vertical capsulated plate ice storage equipment was developed for saving energy. The sizes of ice storage plate and tank were improved in order to solve the problem of distortion of the ice plate and leakage of the stopple. The mathematical model was established to analyze charge and discharge characteristics of the new capsulated plate ice storage equipment. The test stand has been set up and the ice storage equipment has been designed to verify the technical specification of the produce, such as the storage tank volume and the vessel heat transfer area. Under the same nominal ice storage capacity, the ice storage tank can occupy small space and hold big heat transfer area, small thermal resistance and steady charge and discharge rate, which can reduce the material consumption and enhance the system economy capacity.
