ANALYSIS OF SAVING ENERGY OF FRESH AIR VENTILATOR

Sick Building Syndrome by lack of fresh air in traditional ways of air conditioning caused peoples worrying about the indoor air quality, and made it imposible to realize a comfortable environment created by air conditioning. On the contrary, supplying a large quantity of outdoor air,regardless of fluctuation in building occupancy,is a wasteful strategy; Meantime more air means more investing and operating charges. A heat recoverable equipment, Fresh Air Ventilator(FAV), which can provide thermal comfort, and decrease energy consumption of the air conditioning system. In this paper the FAV could be introduced to complement existing air conditioning systems, the focus of this paper is on the characteristics of FAV for replacement of Fresh Air Units(FAU). Furthermore, Some difficulties in design of the new system,such as air balance, frost deposit and so on, should be taken into account. With the advantages of Fresh Air Ventilator, we can get better indoor air quality, more effective energy.
