RESEARCH OF DEHUMIDIFICATION CAPACITY OF DIRECT EXPANSION EVAPORATOR UNDER LOWER-PRESSURE CONDITION
Lower atmospheric pressure can affect devices mass transfer proceeding. So effect of low-pressure on the dehumidification capacity of direct expansion evaporator is studied by theory and experiment respectively. Results show that the coefficient of mass transfer will change under low pressure. On the other hand, the lower vapor pressure will reduce water vapor pressure difference between the air supply and saturation air layer of coil surface. The quantity of mass transfer has something to do with the coefficient of convective mass transfer and the vapor pressure difference between the air and saturation air layer of coil surface. Experiment is carried out and the result shows that the dehumidification capacity of the direct expansion evaporator will decline under the integrated action of the two factors in the condition of lower-pressure. Moreover, the theoretical formula of quantity of mass transfer is given under lower pressure and its correctness is verified by experiments.
