THE ENERGY SAVING EFFECT ANALYSIS OF THE DIFFERENT EXTERIOR ENVELOPE CONSTRUCTION ENERGY SAVING MEASURES IN CHANGSHA
In this paper, Changsha which locates in the climate zone of hot summer and cold winter in China, was selected to be studied, a building energy model in this city was proposed and its energy-saving methods were researched by eQUEST software. At first, it is known that cooling and heating are both required in this climate zone for the climate condition and solar radiation may bring advantage for winter but disadvantage for summer, so the influence of buildings external-wall insulation on airconditioning loads and the HVAC system energy consumption of the model building was simulated and analyzed. Secondly, since energy-saving glass is an important part for architectural energy saving, this article chooses the right type of energy-saving glass according to the climate characteristics of Changsha and the comparison results of the simulation. Thirdly, the kind and thickness of the thermal insulation for the outer wall were recommended with the comparison of simulated calculation. At last, in order to solve the problem of uncomfortable indoor environment due to building wall facing west and east, two kinds of energy-saving method were proposed and a significant conclusion concluded that the energy-saving effects of installing building shades to east and west wall without exterior insulation can be the same as the walls with external insulation.
