THE MOISTURE INFLUENCE ON ENVELOPE HEAT TRANSFER BEHAVIOR AND INSULATION MATERIAL DURABILITY

Moisture transfer study is needed in order to evaluate building heating and cooling energy consumption precisely. Moisture transport is affected by many factors including indoor and outdoor climate conditions, envelope structure component, as well as insulation material position. The heat transfer and moisture transfer are also related with each other. In this study, 2 kinds of envelope are simulated with the use of the weather conditions of harsh-cold climate, cold climate, hot in summer and cold in winter climate regions. The outcomes show that to the same envelope component the moisture content changes in different scale as it is in different climate regions. In different regions, the time to get stable value is not the same. The initial external wall heat transfer co efficiency is higher than stable value. The insulation material connected with perforated brick structure is easier to accumulate moisture than the insulation material connected with reinforced concrete structure.
