Research and Producing of a New-style Heat Resistant Magnesium alloy
The influence of Sr, Ca, Al and RE additions into AM50A on its creep performance has been studied. The research results indicated that, among the three alloys investigated, ＃ 2 alloy has the best creep resistant performance,its steady state creep rate is better than Mg alloy AE44. The steady state creep rates for the three alloys are 1.85×10-9/s,3.43×10-10/s and 1.77×10-8/s respectively. And the die casting experiment results shows good die casting performance for the ＃2 alloy.
