Research on Changes of Land Use Structure in Haidian District, Beijing from 1985 to 2000
Haidian District, Beijing was chosen as the research area. Landsat/TM and other GIS data are the main source of extracting the land use information. Land use change information in the recent 15 years is obtained with the method of extracting features threshold gradually in Haidian District. Through analyzing the result of interpretation, we find that the changes of cultivated land and construction land are the most obvious during recent 15 years in Haidian District. The changes of forest land, grassland, water region and unused land are smaller relatively. Construction land,forest land and grassland are always increasing, whereas other kinds of area are in some different degree such as cultivated land, water region and unused land are decreasing. The land use conversion matrix of Haidian District is established with the method of setting up model. Finally, land use changes and causes to the variation in the past 15 years are analyzed and appraised in Haidian District.
