Transport and precipitation of the elements during fluid rock interaction in Huangbuling gold deposit, Zhaoyuan, China
Linglong granite is the main wall rock of ore bodies in Huangbuling gold deposit, Zhaoyuan. The main alteration in the deposit includes red alteration, sericitization and carbonatization. The orebodies occurred mainly in the sericitized zone. Compared with fresh granite, content of TiO2, A12O3, FeO, CaO, Na2O, MnO decreased in the altered rocks, content of SiO2, K2O, MgO, Fe2O3, CO2 and H2O+ also changed regularly in the altered rocks. From fresh Linglong granite to red-altered granite then to sericitization, ∑REE, ∑Ce/∑Y, δCe,δEu and La/Sm ratio decreased and ∑Y increased gradually. Compared with fresh granite, content of Fe, Mn,Pb, and Zn decreased in red-altered granite and increased remarkably in the sericitized zone. The ore-forming fluid was rich in sulfate and CO2. The Huangbuling deposit formed during circulation of meteoric water driven by lithosphere- mantle thermal convection.
