Formation-water database on saline aquifers in Japan: Toward geochemical modeling in underground sequestration of CO2
Geochemical characteristics of formation water are essential in all the processes of geochemical trapping of CO2. We have been constructing a database accumulating chemical compositions of groundwater in deep aquifers in Japan. The database aims to extract model compositions of deep water for geochemical modeling in our study of underground CO2 storage.
