Environmental characteristics and arsenic enrichment in groundwater, West Jilin, China
Endemic fluorosis is highly observed in the western part of Jilin province, where endemic arsenism was discovered and identified in the 1980s, and which has led to a health threat to the local people and economy. Our investigation and data revealed greater necessity to study in detail to prevent this endemic disease.The detailed geochemical analysis in the arsenism area highlights the environmental characteristics, as well as the relationship of As and other elements.
