Chemical composition and quality of groundwater in Vladivostok city, Southern Primorye
The purpose of this investigation is to evaluate the ecological-geochemical conditions of the groundwater in southern Primorye. The primary area of research was groundwater resources associated within the city boundary. Industrial and domestic sewage from the city affects the chemical composition of groundwater substantially increasing the level ofbiogenic components and in some cases changing the potable quality of water used for drinking purposes. The distribution of microelements within the groundwater depends mainly on the composition of the enclosing geology.
