Enhanced-bioremediation effects of oil polluted soils in Daqing oilfield

Based on an investigation of oil polluted soils in Daqing oilfield in China, the bioremediation systems were assessed and the enhanced-bioremediation effects are discussed in this paper. The abiotic factors in the bioremediation systems were controlled in the optimized range, with temperatures of 20-25℃, water contents of 10%-16%, and the nutrient in purposeful accession. The running results of the bioremediation systems showed that the microbial amounts of the enhanced systems were 2-3 orders higher than the 1# system, and the microbial amounts in 2# system increased rapidly after 15-20 days, as the same level to the systems which adding bacteria. The total highest cleaning ratio of the oil polluted soils could reach 34.23% in the 4# system, according to the degradation mechanism, the bioremediation was the major process in the bioremediation systems in this paper.
