Equalization and Performance Analysis of the Non-orthogonal Phase-Offset Modulation

摘要：

A novel modulation technique for digital communication (NPOM )was proposed recently1. Computer simulation results show that it outperforms the DMT modulation in the ADSL channel1,2. The studies and simulations1~5 have been focused on the basic principle and transmission performance of the new technique. The equalization scheme and its effect on the performance of NPOM has not been studied in detail. This paper discusses the equalization of NPOM modulation and the problems encountered in the equalization process.
