Effects of Distributed Antenas of LAS-CDMA
Distributed antennas with Large Area Synchronous wideband code division multiple access ( LAS-CDMA) model under multi-path fading channel is analyzed. The spreading codes of the CDMA system are Loosely Synchronized(LS) spreading codes. LS codes exhibits a so-called Interference Free Window, where both the autocorrelation and cross correlation of the codes become zero. Therefore, if the signal is limited in the window, LS codes have the promise of mitigating the effect of Inter Symbol Interference (ISI )and Multiple Access Inference (MAI )in multi-path fading channels. The performance of LAS-CDMA with distributed antennas factors was studied. It has been verified that BER of mobile is related with the location of bases, the numbers of antennas and the signals power. Numerical results indicate that macro diversity gain is obtained by the use of distributed antennas, the performance of the system is affected by many factors
