A Research of Sonde Balloon Orientation Algorithm
Aviation security is the most important thing in the civil aviation. It is the security rule for aviation that one over ten thousand possibilities may result in a hundred percent calamity. The meteorological department sends sonde 3 times to the air to get weather data everyday, whose impetus is the sonde balloon. At the same time, the sonde balloon is also the air reef. The sonde balloon monitoring system can measure the position of the sonde balloon online and transmit the data to the civil aviation manage center through network, which is as the science basis for the dodging of the airplane. The monitoring system is oriented by the sphere coordinate, in which the parameters measured include the pitching angle, azimuth angle and inclined distance. The civil aviation manage center needs transform the sphere coordinate into longitude, latitude, height above sea level and air pressure height. The pressure height is relevant to the real air pressure value of the sonde balloon. The practicable algorithm is proposed based on the theoretical analysis to civil aviation manage center. The results show this system can be applied to resolve the hidden security trouble from the sonde balloon.
