Impact of Breaker Operations on Ferroresonance in Power Systems

摘要：

The impact of breaker operations on ferroresonance is studied for a 1100kV test system. The research is conducted on EMTDC. We show that ferroresonance is sensitive to the operation time of breakers, which illustrates the characteristics of chaos in ferroresonace. Therefore, it is necessary to control operation time of breakers exactly in order to restrict ferroresonance.
