Non-uniform Sampling Signal Spectral Estimation of Tire Pressure Monitoring System Using Wavelet Transform

Abnormal tire pressure can be detected in many ways. One method is to monitor the tires response vibration caused by the stochastic ground excitation. According to measure the vibratory frequency, the tire pressure can be estimated. In this paper, a resonance frequency of event based sampling signal in Tire Pressure Monitoring System is properly estimated by utilizing Non-Uniform Wavelet Transform. The processing procedure is presented from the uniform wavelet to non-uniform wavelet. The results by simulation show that its effective.
