New Constructions of ZCZ Sequence Set with Large Family Size

Two new methods of constructing zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence set with large family size from an known one are presented. Compared with the original ZCZ sequence set, the proposed sequence sets which can be generated from the correlation product of arbitrary unitary matrices and the original ZCZ sequence set, has longer period,larger family size, and wider zero correlation zone. Furthermore, we can prove that if the original ZCZ sequence set with wide ZCZ is optimal with respect to the mathematical bound, then the new sequence sets are approximately optimal.
