The Researches on the Shipbuilding Production Logistics Management System Based on MRP II and JIT
Nowadays Chinese shipbuilding enterprises have been taking more and more important roles in the international shipbuilding market, but the manufacture and management technologies still falls behind to a certain extent. MRP II and JIT, being two main technologies in modern production management and control fields, have the different operation mechanisms and the mutual supplements. Considering the management characters and actual status of Chinese shipbuilding enterprises, the requirements of MRP II and JIT to apply in shipbuilding enterprises are discussed, and the proper production logistics management model based on them is put forward, and finally the detail analysis is passed. According with the requirements for Chinese shipbuilding enterprises to produce high-end ships and cater for the international market, the shipbuilding production logistics management system based on MRP II and JIT is provided with many applicable values and able to improve the operation and management level, increase the production efficiency and enhance the market competitive power for shipbuilding enterprises.
