Product Life Cycle Six Sigma Solution
Based on the continuous tracing the progress of Six Sigma & DFSS in the world and the deep research and a lot of practices on Six Sigma & DFSS by experts team of Beijing Sunlight Tech. During recent 5 years, the authors bring forward the Product Life Cycle Six Sigma Solutions ( LCSS) with Processes, Technical Methods and Management. Integrating robust design, reliability engineering, software engineering and improved SPC into Six Sigma area, the authors have developed advanced IDDOV process with detailed steps and six technical tool-kits for new product design, DATIC process for small batch production and unstable manufacturing, DATDOV process for small batch product redesign and DMADOV process for larger batch product redesign respectively. And the authors improved traditional DMAIC process with some new technical methods and Six Sigma management promotion approaches. Practices from 6 large-scale enterprises (including electronic, electric, communication, mechanical, oil and chemical fields) in China demonstrated that the LCSS solution, which adopts a set of complete, applicable and world-class technical approaches and tools, is very powerful and flexible for product life cycle Six Sigma problems.
